Carriera accademica ed attività didattica

22 marzo 1989   Physics Master degree at Padua University. 

1993    PhD degree in Physics at the Physics Department of Padua University. Thesis: "Study of the diffusion process of metal ions in glasses for integrated optics".  

1992-1994   Scholarship at the INFM Padua section, Physics Department. 

1995   Post-doc position in the field of Physical Sciences at Padua University. 
 
1995-2006  Assistant  Professor  at  Engineering  Faculty,  University  of  Trento,  in  the  scientific area B03X (Matter Structure), then FIS/03 (Physics of Matter). 
 
September 2006 -  February 2016:  Associate Professor at the Engineering Faculty  and the at the Industrial Engineering Department  of  Trento  University  in  the  scientific  area  FIS/01  (Experimental Physics). 

Since February 2016: Full Professor in  the  scientific  area  FIS/01  (Experimental Physics) at the Department of Industrial Engineering of Trento Unversity.

 

TEACHING ACTIVITY

From 1992 to 1995: lecturer for the courses Physics Laboratory and Physics Experiments II for the Engineering Master Course of Padua University. 
 
1995-2013: assistant teacher of the courses Solid State Physics e Surface Physics of the Materials Engineering Master course, University of Trento. 
 
From 1995 to 2000: assistant for the course Physics 2 at Engineering , University of Trento. 
 
From 2004 to 2006: assistant of the course Physics 3 for the Industrial Engineering Bachelor course, University of Trento. 
 
From 2006 to 2009: teacher of the course Physics 3 for the Industrial Engineering Bachelor course, University of Trento. 
 
Since 2009: teacher of the course Physics 2 for the Industrial Engineering Bachelor course, University of Trento. 
 
From  2001  to  2014:  teacher  of  the  course  Physics  for  the  Viticulture  and  Enology  inter-academic course. 
 
Since  2001:  teacher  of  the  course  Optical  properties  of  Materials  for  the  Materials  Engineering Doctorate School at University of Trento, now Optical Properties of Nanomaterials of the Doctorate School of Materials, Mechatronics and System Engineering. 
 
From  2012  to  2014:  teacher  of  the  course  Materials  Characterizations,  of  the  Materials Engineering Master course and Physics Laboratory for the Industrial Engineering Bachelor course, University of Trento. 
 
Since  2013:  teacher  of  the  course  Solid  State  Physics,  of  the  Materials  and  Production Engineering Master course.
