Attività di ricerca

Please visit the Clinical and Affective Neuroscience Lab webpage for further details ( http://r.unitn.it/en/dipsco/clian )

-Neurocognitive mechanisms of emotion regulation. The main objective of this field is to uncover the psychological and neural mechanisms by which individuals regulate their emotions. Emotion regulation is important for good mental health and failures of such regulation are associated with many psychopathological conditions. This field is also connected with the experimental psychopathology and has implication for the treatment of emotional problems.

-Emotional bases of decision making. This area refers to the study of how emotions (in normal population), emotional dysregulation (in psychopathological conditions) and emotional deficits (in neuropsychological syndromes) affect decision-making.
