Paolo Giorgini is a full Professor at the Department of Engineering and Computer Science of University of Trento, where he has been the head of the computer science bachelor and master degree programs and now head of the International PhD school on ICT. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Information Engineering of University of Ancona, Italy (1998) and he has been visiting researcher at the Computer Science Department of University of Toronto (2000) and at the Software Engineering Department of University of Technology in Sydney (2005). Research-wise, he is leading the Software Engineering, Formal Methods and Security group and he contributed to the development of (security) requirements modeling languages and agent and goal-oriented techniques for software analysis and development. He contributed to the development of software and security engineering methodologies and tools and, in 2015, he gained the 10 years most influence paper award at the International Conference on Requirements Engineering. He is the founder of the International Journal of Agent-Oriented Software Engineering and member of the editorial board of International journals, such as REJ and IJATS. His publication list includes more than 260 refereed journal and conference proceedings. He coordinated and contributed to several provincial, national and international research projects and he is currently coordinating an EU-H2020-RIA project (PACAS), an industrial project DICOM4.0, and participating to a EU-H2020-CSA project (OPTICS2). He contributed to the organisation of international conferences as general chair, program chair and program committee member, such as RE, ER, CAiSE, AAMAS, EUMAS, ICSOC, and CoopIS. He is the program chair of the 31th International Conference on Advanced Information Systems Engineering (CAiSE) that will be held in 2019. He is currently teaching the folowwing courses:
