The project investigates how decision-making processes triggered by lexical and semantic stimuli (words) may influence the following implementation of a motor response. Specifically, the aim is to describe the potentially continuous mapping of decisional evidence onto response channels, in order to overcome the traditional distinction between decision-making and motor response implementation. Experimental work relies on the acquisition and analysis of electromyographic (EMG) and/or electroencephalographic (EEG) data.
