Academic career and teaching activities

2nd semester 2022/23, 2023/24: teaching assistant in the course “Foundations of Demography” held by Prof. Vitali at the 2nd level “Master in Welfare: Theoretical Foundations and Data Analysis” jointly organized by Collegio Carlo Alberto and the University of Turin.

1st semester a.a. 2021/22, 2022/23: teaching assistant in the course “Quantitative methods for research”, held at the Department of Sociology and Social Research of the University of Trento (BA in Sociology) by prof. Vitali.

1st and 2nd semester a.a. 2017/8: academic tutor in the course “Introduction to Economics”, held at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Trento by Prof. Faill. The course intended to introduce BA students to microeconomics. Topics covered: consumer behaviour, theory of the firm, competitive market equilibrium, monopoly.

Transition to adulthood, life course analysis, family and gender norms, social policies.

Research work

2020 - : PhD student at the Department of Sociology and Social Research - Doctoral School of Social Sciences, supervisor: Prof. Vitali. I am currently working on the transition to adulthood of young people in Europe. The project adopts a comparative perspective to study of the timing of events during the transition to adulthood and focuses in particular on the role of structural factors and of gender norms.

2018-2020: Junior Researcher at Eurac Research, Center for Advanced Studies. Collaboration at research projects funded by either third parties or by European funds (Interreg) about the following topics: labour market, environmental sustainability, local development.
