Data Modeling and Data Integration techniques; Semantic ETL (extract, translate, and load) techniques for collecting, analyzing, extracting, and mapping data to a semantic model to support digital services; Representing and exploiting multilingual vocabularies in linguistic and semantic applications; Business Intelligence, Data Science, and Data Analytics; Big Data and Open Data paradigms with applications in Smart Cities, Smart Communities, Smart Societies for the development of intelligent services; Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge Representation methodologies and techniques, ontologies, automatic reasoning (semantic research, matching ontologies), semantic interoperability; Digital Libraries and Knowledge Organization methodologies and techniques for the classification, indexing and search of documents; Privacy-by-design methodologies; Project management tools (MS project, Redmine, Trello); I authored and managed several regional, national and international projects; I have been author of a number of scientific articles presented in conferences or published in national and international journals.


I have been a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Trento from 2012 to 2017. Since 2008, when I was a doctorate student, I have been actively involved as project manager in national and international research and innovation projects. In particular, for the two consecutive years (2013-2014) I was leading the Smart Society project, I have been rated "excellent" from the Review Committee of the EU as project manager. I participated as invited speaker at the Smart Cities World Forum in 2014. Thanks to these experiences, I acquired managerial, decision-making, human resource management and communication skills.
