European comparative private law, particularly contract law; Comparative law and soft law instruments for the harmonization of private law (PECL, PICC, DCFR) and their interaction with national legal systems; structure of EU law and its impact on national legal systems, particularly in the area of private law; consumer protection in European legal systems and the European Union; legal transplants and competition of legal models within the European Union; differentiated integration within the EU; measurement of law, legal methodology and social sciences.
