Prevention and Protection Service
The Prevention and Protection Service submits to the Rector guidelines and strategies on Health and Safety at Work.
It identifies and implements safety procedures and examines risk factors to formulate risk assessments. Based on these assessments, it proposes appropriate preventive and protective measures and suggests risk monitoring systems.
It falls within the responsibilities of the service to inform University staff and students on prevention measures and to improve safety culture.
The Prevention and Protection Service, together with APSS, is responsible for health surveillance and staff training on health issues.
It is in charge of implementing regulations in force on matters of health and safety at work and preventive and protective measures.
