RESEARCHER'S NIGHT 2018
On Friday 28 September 2018 the Researchers' Night will be back in original-version, co-organized by FBK, MUSE, FEM, UNITN.
THIS YEAR'S EDITION WILL BE LOCATED AT MUSE, FOUR FORMATS AVAILABLE:
DEMO AND HANDS-ON: each researcher/group (not more than 2 people at a time) will be assigned a stand (1 table, electricity, WIFI, 2 chairs). The researchers will show some real aspects of their research to the visitors, who will have the chance to see the methods and results of scientific activity, interacting directly with researchers. The stands will be located inside the museum (exhibition areas, rooms, etc.).
MEET THE RESEARCH: the researchers (1 or 2) will meet the audience. Slides or audio-video material are welcome but please mind it is not intended as a lecture. There will be a moderator to stimulate the debate. Duration: 20 minutes + debate.
DINNER WITH RESEARCH: The dinner will be held in 1 or 2 restaurants in the "Albere" area. The researchers will have dinner with citizens, talking with them about their research.
HUMAN LIBRARY: for one night, it will be possible to borrow not a book, but a researcher. Adults and children will be able to “consult” the researchers seated at their station. A panel will provide some clues about their work and their identity. Duration: 15 minutes per person.
