Paolo Tosi earned his Physics degree (cum laude) from the University of Padova in 1980. After completing his military service as an officer of the Alpine Troops from 1981-2, he pursued further studies at the University of Innsbruck in Austria. In 1985, he received his PhD for a thesis on ion-neutral collisions at low energies, under the supervision of Professor W. Lindinger. During his studies in 1984, he also worked as a visiting scientist in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Utah, USA under the supervision of Professor J. Futrell. |

Paolo Tosi graduated from the University of Padova with a degree in Physics (cum laude) in 1980. After serving as a mountain infantry officer from 1981 to 1982, he pursued further studies at the University of Innsbruck in Austria. He received his PhD in 1985 for his thesis on ion-neutral collisions at low energies under the supervision of Prof. W. Lindinger. In 1984, he was in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Utah, USA, supervised by Prof. J. Futrell. He has written more than 130 peer-reviewed articles in international scientific journals, see https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2841-5876. He is full professor of experimental physics at the University of Trento. |
