Evaluation scheme:

1. Accepted without revision > Permission for public defense is granted  and no other action is asked from the candidate

2. Accepted with minor revisions > Permission for public defense is granted but the candidate must correct his/her thesis (the new version of the thesis will not be submitted for a further revision)

3. Major revisions required > Referees can propose a postponement for a period not exceeding 6 months. The revised version of the thesis will be sent to the referee for further evaluation; the candidate will be then admitted to the public defense
