I disentangle what ”happens” in classroom, the role played by hierarchies, networks, and peers in shaping students’ socio-emotional skills, academic achievement, educational choices, and healthy habits. I will also study the levels, drivers, and spacial distribution of unfair inequalities and the effects on students’ outcomes and how institutional constraints shape literacy, mortality, and health standards.
