E' stato Guest Editor di 6 numeri speciali di riviste internazionali, tra le quali IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, Pattern Recognition Letters, IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Signal Processing e IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing.
