Research Support Division

The division helps define, implement and coordinate the activities required to support research, and helps promote the talent of researchers and their career. It also contributes to the identification and management of processes ensuring quality in research and third mission.

The division helps researchers draft and submit individual and partnership proposals to participate in national, European and international calls, and provides assistance with the interpretation of the management and accounting regulations as well as in the definition of contracts with funding organizations during the negotiation phase.

The division oversees the drafting and implementation of the University’s policies and procedures on research ethics and integrity and the processing and protection of data in research projects, and is responsible for the office of the Research Ethics Committee.

The activities are carried out by two offices:

• The Research ethics and integrity office, and
• the Research support office, which is organized in three units, one for each campus, in Trento, Povo-Mesiano, and Rovereto.
