  • July 2, 2004: High school diploma, Ginnasio Liceo "G.D.Romagnosi", Parma, Italy. Final grade 100/100 cum laude.
  • October 30, 2007: Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, University of Parma, Italy. Thesis: "Generalised Polya's urns", full marks with honours (110/110 cum laude). Advisor prof. F.Morandin.
  • September 25, 2009: Master's Degree in Mathematics, University of Pisa, Italy. Thesis: "Dirichlet Processes and Applications", full marks with honours (110/110 cum laude). Advisor prof. F.Flandoli.
  • October 4, 2013: PhD in Applied Mathematics, Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa, Italy. Thesis: "Dyadic models for turbulence on trees", full marks with honours (70/70 cum laude). Advisors prof. F.Flandoli and F.Morandin.
Academic career and teaching activities
  • Postdoctoral Researcher (Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter), Universität Augsburg.
    At first (01.11.2013–31.03.2014) funded by a DAAD Scholarship (without teaching duties), subsequently (01.04.2014–30.09.2016), with a Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft researcher position, without teaching duties, then with a position funded by the Mathematical Institute for one semester, with a teaching load of 6 hours per week.

    From 01.10.2016 to 30.09.2017, with a teaching load of 4 hours per week. While in Berlin, I was co-supervisor of 6 Master's theses and one Bachelor's thesis. I left the position after one year, after receiving a call as Junior Professor.

Research interests

My research interests lie in the area of probability theory and stochastic analysis, with detours into analysis and mathematical physics. In particular, I am interested in (stochastic) partial differential equations, random dynamical systems and dyadic models for turbulence.
