Research interests

My research interests are mostly focused on real algebraic geometry, in particular on the topology of real algebraic sets. I am also interested in semi-algebraic geometry, Nash geometry and applications of model theoretical notions on the study of real algebraic geometry and semi-algebraic geometry over arbitrary real closed fields.

Research work

I am trying to find models defined over rational numbers of some classes of real algebraic sets, Nash sets and germs of analytic sets.

Preprint:

“On the degree of global smoothing mappings for subanalytic sets”, Enrico Savi, https://arxiv.org/abs/2210.06841 (2022).

Memberships in societies and scientific committees

GNSAGA (Gruppo Nazionale per le Strutture Algebriche, Geometriche e le loro Applicazioni - INDAM), section: Geometria algebrica e algebra commutativa (Algebraic geometry and commutative algebra).

I take part in the INdAM Project “Theory of hypercomplex functions and applications”.
