Master students in "Physics" and "...
Friday 16 February 2018
Master students in "Physics" and "Quantitative and Computational Biology" are encouraged to enquire about the projects in our group "Statistical and Biological Physics", including Prof. Pietro Faccioli and Prof. Raffaello Potestio. Master theses with our collaborators are possible and might include also an internship in another laboratory.
My research activity deals mainly with the applications of statistical mechanics and computational physics to the investigation of biological macromolecules, including proteins, membranes, nucleic acids and hybrid organic/inorganic/biological interfaces. Possible applications of statistical mechanics to other fields of research can ben always discussed.
Students are strongly encouraged to take all possible courses in Computational Physics and Statistical Physics.
