I am interested in studying auditory abilities, especially in noisy conditions, in the older population. My research focuses on how metacognition can be exploited to ease hearing in older adults, with the final goal to ameliorate their quality of life and perceptual experience. |

PhD project: assessing and ameliorating hearing in noise abilities in the older population, potentiating metacognition and promoting self-regulation strategies.
Side projects: studying how masked communication impacts on speech understanding and on metacognitive assessment. |
