  1. Theoretical and numerical models for the evalution of mixed mode stress intensity factors in the field of the linear elastic fracture mechanics
  2. Experimental study and numerical modeling of the effect of residual stresses on the fatigue behavior of mechanical components
  3. Study of initiation and propagation of fatigue cracks at blunt and sharp notches
  4. Correlation between the mechanical properties and the microstructure of materials for structural applications
  5. Experimental characterization and numerical modeling of the mechanical behavior of different types of joints: weldings, adhesive joints, bolted joints
  6. Modelling of the the elasto-plastic behavior of metallic materials
  7. Numerical modelling of the shot peening process
  8. Numerical modeling and experimental characterization of components produced by additive manufacturing
